Exciting activities at Culture, Sports and Tourism Week of District 7

The opening ceremony of Culture, Sports and Tourism Week has been held by The People’s Committee of District 7 to celebrate their 25th establishment anniversary (April 1, 1997 – April 1, 2022) at The Crescent, Phu My Hung, Tan Phu Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Taking place  from March 26 to April 1, 2022, The Culture, Sport and Tourism Week includes a variety of artistic activities such as Water Puppetry, Performances of ethnic musical Instruments, Southern Amateur music (Don Ca Tai Tu), Revolutionary traditional Music, Folk Music, Drum and Trumpet Performances, children’s Art, Acoustic and Modern music Performances…; Sports activities include Dragon Lion performance, martial arts stage, folk games and reading culture space.

The opening ceremony of The Culture, Sports and Tourism Week took place on the evening of March 26 with many cultural performances.
Exhibition area about Economic – Cultural – Social Achievements of District 7 after 25 years of establishment and development.
Folk games area serves visitors every day.
Folk games such as Mandarin square capturing (Ô ăn quan), breaking piggy banks with eyes blindfolded, walking on stilts, jumping bags, throwing a scared ball through the ring (Ném còn)… attract people of all ages.
Cultural space opens every day for readers.
The martial arts festival takes place on March 26-27-28-31 and April 1, 2022.
The 1st D7 Ao Dai Contest 2022 is one of the activities of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week.
The contest attracted nearly 300 candidates from the Departments and organizations in the area.
Contestants invested in ideas and costumes to show off their special performances.
The judges prensented prizes to the winners.
