The Canal is an artificialcanal running along Ton Dat Tien street, connecting the Canal District to Hillview District.
Inspired by the Canal District in the U.S., this area features the canal as its central element. Along both sides are the lively residential and commercial buildings. As such, The Canal is both an architectural and landscape highlight, serving as a vital link between nature and urban development.
The canal stretches about 700 meters in length, 2–3 meters in width, with a total water surface area of nearly 1,500 square meters. It winds along Ton Dat Tien Street where green trees are planted, forming an open and airy green park. Along the canal, every few hundred meters, there are small bridges or large stones placed for pedestrians to easily cross from one side to the other.
In the canal, clusters of colorful lotus and water lilies bloom, while schools of small fish swim freely. Along the banks, flowering plants such as heliconia flowers, mimosas, hibiscus, and willow trees gracefully reflect in the water.
