Joyful Steps of Sharing

On the morning of January 24, 2026, Phu My Hung City Center came alive with excitement as more than 7,000 participants gathered to walk and raise funds for charity at a deeply meaningful community event – The 21st Lawrence S. Ting Charity Walk, held under the message “Foottteps of Sharing”.

The program was organized by Phu My Hung Corporation in coordination with the People’s Committees of Tan My, Tan Hung, Tan Thuan, Phu Thuan, and Binh Dong Wards, as well as Nha Be, Binh Chanh, and Binh Hung Communes, with the aim of raising funds to support disadvantaged families in celebrating Tet 2026.

Embodying the spirit of solidarity and compassion, and reaching out to those in difficult circumstances, numerous businesses, organizations, and benefactors joined hands to contribute to the program. As a result, a total of VND 2.3 billion was raised.

All funds collected were presented by the Organizers to the “For the Poor” Funds of the participating localities, the “One Heart” Fund of Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV), and the Supporting Fund for Sports Talents under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, to implement support activities for disadvantaged people during Tet 2026.

Over its 21 editions, the Lawrence S. Ting Charity Walk has attracted more than 246,000 participants and raised over VND 53 billion to support those in need. Beyond its fundraising achievements, the program has helped cultivate a distinctive charitable tradition in the southern part of the city every Lunar New Year.

Phu My Hung Today invites readers to look back at memorable moments from The 21st Lawrence S. Ting Charity Walk.
