On the first morning of its opening, The 7th Phu My Hung Green Day 2024 attracted a lot of participants with many environmentally-focused activities.
A highlight was the activity of exchanging used batteries, old books, and comics for gifts. Many people, especially children, participated in this meaningful environmental protection activity. Used batteries or old books and comics brought to the event could be exchanged for small gifts, such as seeds or school supplies. After the event, the used batteries will be sent to specialized units for proper disposal, contributing to environmental protection.
Aiming for a green environment, The 7th Phu My Hung Green Day 2024 also featured other meaningful activities such as: guiding the planting and care of trees, giving away seedlings, and introducing clean vegetable growing models.
The event also provided a beneficial playground for children and families. Games like waste sorting, making toys from recycled materials, coloring vegetables and fruits, and bean sort were both entertaining and aimed at fostering a love for nature and the environment in children.
The event also included a reading culture space with the “Green Bookworms” area, offering children interesting books about the environment and life.
In addition to environmental activities, promoting the “Green Living, Healthy Living” movement, The 7th Phu My Hung Green Day 2024 also featured booths displaying and introducing green, clean agricultural products, food, and environmentally friendly household items.
The event will take place from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on August 24 & 25, 2024
