On the morning of October 4, 2025, the “Volunteer Steps 2025” event organized by Lawrence S. Ting School brought together nearly 2,000 enthusiastic students, teachers, and parents.
More than just a community-building sports activity, the event carried a deeply meaningful purpose: raising funds for Service-Learning projects designed and implemented by Lawrence S. Ting students themselves. This signature educational program empowers students to learn through real-world experiences, apply their knowledge, develop essential skills, and embrace the spirit of social responsibility.
During the event, participants walked a 500-meter route, completing multiple laps. Each lap counted as a contribution to the Service-Learning fund, helping generate practical resources to sustain and expand community-serving initiatives.
Every determined step and radiant smile along the way reflected the school’s strong sense of community and the spirit of dedication and sharing among students and staff.
The “Volunteer Steps 2025” event concluded in an atmosphere of excitement and inspiration – fueling the journey of young Doers – Thinkers – Leaders as they continue to learn, serve, and spread kindness.
