– Pursuant to Decision No. 25/2019/QD-UBND dated October 24, 2019 issued by People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City;
– Pursuant to Notice No. 3350/CNNB-KD dated December 13, 2021 issued by Nha Be Water Supply Joint Stock Company;
– Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 15/2022/ND-CP dated January 28, 2022 on the reduction of value-added tax for groups of goods and services applying the 10% tax rate;
1. Adjustment of VAT rate for drainage and wastewater treatment service fee from February 1 to December 31, 2022
According to Decree No. 15/2022/ND-CP dated January 28, 2022 issued by the Government, the VAT rate of 8% for drainage and waste water treatment services from February 01 to December 31, 2022 is applied (instead of 10%). Therefore, the calculation of water price from the 2nd period of 2022 has changed. All details are mentioned in the Notice to residents.
Water consumption is calculated based on the calculation of everage 30 days. There is 2 parts for adjusting VAT rate from 8 Jan. 2022 to 7 Feb. 2022. The detail is as follows:
- From 08 – 31 Jan. 2022: the VAT rate for the drainage and wastewater treatment service fee is 10% (not yet applied for tax reduction)
- From 01 – 07 Feb. 2022: the VAT rate applied for drainage and wastewater treatment service fee is 8% (tax reduction is applied)
- From March 2022 to December 2022, the unit price for water, Service charge for drainage and wastewater treatment, and the VAT rate of the drainage and wastewater treatment service fee are applied as per the set price of year 2022 (full term, 30 days)
2. Registration for identification of water users
Residents should register to use water quota so that the water price for residents in HCMC area will be applied. Documents for registration of use of water quota include:
1. Water use registration Form (attached form)
2. Documents of permanent or temporary residence in Phu My Hung
3. Certificate of Business Household registration and tax code (if any)
