On March 22, 2025, the Quang Binh Provincial Police, in collaboration with CT&D Group in Vietnam and the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation, held an inauguration ceremony for the renovated Hung campus, part of Preschool No. 1 Trong Hoa, located in Trong Hoa Commune, Minh Hoa District, Quang Binh Province.
Previously, the Hung campus had only one shared classroom for three different age groups, with deteriorating facilities that posed significant challenges for both teaching and learning. In response to these difficulties—and following a call for support from the Quang Binh Provincial Police—the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation sponsored the renovation with a total funding of VND 160 million.
The completion of this project not only enhances the quality of education in the area but also reflects the commitment and generosity of the sponsors and the police force toward the community. This initiative marks an important step in educational support efforts, providing a safer and more modern learning environment for children in remote areas.
Founded in November 2005, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation continues the community-focused vision of Mr. Lawrence S. Ting, late Chairman of Phu My Hung Asia Holdings and Phu My Hung Development Corporation. Over nearly 20 years, the foundation has launched numerous programs supporting education, healthcare, and social welfare, contributing approximately VND 550 billion to various initiatives.
