On September 8, 2024, a theft was discovered and promptly prevented by the Phu My Hung Security Team at Crescent Mall. According to the security report, the suspect frequently visited the Crescent Mall parking lot, taking advantage of cars that were left unlocked or with open windows to rummage through and steal belongings.
At 16:40 on the same day, the suspect stole documents from a Mercedes Benz with license plate 51… in the parking lot but was immediately detected and detained by Phu My Hung Security. At the investigation agency, the suspect, named H.V.T., born in 1973, residing in Binh Thuan, admitted to the theft and confessed to previous thefts at Crescent Mall, including stealing a laptop and vehicle documents in August and early September 2024.
The suspect and the stolen items have been handed over to Tan Phu Ward Police for further investigation and processing according to regulations.
Through this incident, Phu My Hung Security reminds residents to always check and lock their car doors when leaving to avoid unfortunate losses.
