“A Joyful Spring” – presented by the Phu My Hung Spring Flower Festival 2025 as a jubilant and lively melody, celebrating the nation’s joy after 50 years of unification, construction, and development, while honoring Vietnamese cultural values during the festive season of Tet.

Visitors to the festival will be greeted by an entrance gate adorned with vibrant spring colors and decorative highlights, including flowers, musical notes, music frames, and fireworks. This stylized gateway symbolizes the nation’s aspirations for progress and serves as a milestone celebrating the journey of growth and unity.
The Phu My Hung Spring Road begins with the bright yellow and red Spring Gate, prominently displaying the theme “Joyful Spring” alongside hundreds of vibrant red lucky money envelopes. This festive entrance welcomes visitors into a vibrant array of spring colors along the Spring Road, curving gracefully by the Crescent Lake.
The mascot for Tet 2025 is the “Linh Xà Đại Phú” installation—a nearly 6-meter-tall, 26-meter-long figure designed in the style of childhood paper folding. This friendly and approachable creation symbolizes prosperity and wealth, offering New Year blessings to all.
Honoring 50 years of national reunification, this display features iconic architectural models of Vietnam’s three regions: Turtle Tower (North), Meridian Gate (Central), and Ben Thanh Market (South). Together, they represent family reunions and the unity of the nation.
The joy of a jubilant spring is also expressed through the mini landscape Spring Melody, featuring bamboo arches resembling musical staves adorned with wind chimes, lanterns, and colorful musical note symbols. These elements bring cheerful sounds and vibrant imagery, capturing the lively spirit of springtime. The essence of the Spring of the Year of the Snake 2025 is also showcased through the miniature display of the number 2025 on the Spring Road. The numbers are designed with a modern font, vibrant colors, and imagery of the sun and soaring birds, symbolizing aspirations for growth and reaching new heights. This will undoubtedly be an ideal “check-in” spot for visitors to capture joyful and happy moments with their loved ones and friends at the start of the year.
The Phu My Hung Spring Flower Street 2025 also serves as a venue to convey the beauty of Vietnamese culture and traditional values through various miniatures. These include the Spring Colors of Vietnamese Tet display, highlighted by hundreds of conical hats; the Vietnamese Village in Spring display, featuring a simple bamboo gate and a New Year’s tree symbolizing peace; the Calligrapher’s Street display, showcasing the tradition of requesting calligraphy during spring; and the Colors of Three Regions display, with a five-fruit tray and traditional garments such as the áo tứ thân and áo dài.
Joining the celebration of the nation’s joy and renewal in spring is the miniature display Spring Path. This area features images showcasing the construction and development of the Phu My Hung City Center, as well as highlights from the Phu My Hung Spring Flower Festival over the years. Additionally, the area is adorned with tall banners bearing New Year’s greetings, wishing visitors peace, luck, and prosperity.
Adding vibrant colors to the Phu My Hung Spring Road for the Year of the Snake are dazzling flower fields interspersed with other themed displays, such as sunflower fields, mustard flower fields, and cosmos flower fields. Complementing these is the Spring Wharf display on the Crescent Lake, with floating flower rafts that depict Vietnam’s unique waterway culture.
The Phu My Hung Spring Road 2025 is scheduled to welcome visitors from the 24th day of the lunar year (January 23, 2025) to the 4th day of the lunar year (February 1, 2025). The opening ceremony is expected to take place at 6:00 PM on the 24th day of the lunar year (January 23, 2025).
PHU MY HUNG FLOWER MARKET
In addition to the Phu My Hung Spring Road, which features the Joyful Spring decorative theme, the Phu My Hung Spring Flower Festival 2025 will also host the Flower Market. The market will be open from January 22 to noon on January 28, 2025 (23rd to 29th day of the lunar year), offering around 145 flower and ornamental plant stalls from local gardens in Ho Chi Minh City and provinces like Bến Tre and Đồng Tháp. It aims to serve the residents of Phu My Hung and the southern districts of the city.
