Recently, at Crescent Lake Park (Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the 8th Phu My Hung Green Living Day <\/strong>unfolded with vibrant energy under the theme \u201cGreen Living – Healthy Living\u201d, attracting a large crowd of residents and visitors. The event became a weekend destination for families, young people, and environmentally conscious communities.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set amid the lush greenery of one of Phu My Hung\u2019s largest parks, the festival offered a variety of meaningful activities aimed at raising environmental awareness. Highlights included exhibitions of items made from recycled materials, green model displays, home gardening workshops, and a gift-exchange program for used batteries, electronics, paper, plastic items, toys, books, and school supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival also featured a range of eco-themed games for children and families – from crafting toys out of recycled materials to STEM-based waste-sorting activities, a balance-bike playground made from recycled plastic, and plant pot decorating – all designed to nurture environmental awareness among young participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two competitions, \u201cI Love the Environment\u201d<\/em> and \u201cPaint the Green World\u201d<\/em>, provided creative platforms for children to express their love for nature through recycled crafts and artwork. The \u201cPainting the Green World\u201d<\/em> contest, co-organized by Global Art Center, drew a large number of participants and awarded many exciting prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In parallel, the \u201cRecycling Plastic Waste into Useful Items\u201d<\/em> contest, organized in collaboration with the Tan My Ward Women\u2019s Union, encouraged community members to showcase innovative and practical recycled products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
